Wilhelmina modeling agency is holding an open casting call in my area and I was wondering if I should go. I’m 5′8 (and still growing), 15 years old and 105 pounds. But I still have braces. I’m getting them off soon and I would love to go to the casting call but I was wondering if it is not a good idea to go to it if i still have braces.

I live in Chicago and am interested in doing promotional modeling. Car shows, special events, tradeshows type of thing. I have no portfolio. Is it necessary? Does anyone know of any agencies in Chicago that are good to contact?

So I am going to NYC for Spring Break. I’ve always been told I should model, so I want to go to some open casting calls just to see if I have the look they want. I’m having a really hard time finding open casting calls for men between March 13-21. Any help?

Also, any pointers? I’ve never been to a casting call; I just figured I’d take a few snapshots. Any advice on what to wear, etc.?

I’m a mix of hawaiian filipino with dark hair and light skin. I think I have that beach look. Any help, please? (:

hey i’m suzie. i’m 13 years old and i always wanted to model and act. and also become a fashion designer. i just recently started modeling. i did my first fashion show and i loved it,but i’m not sighned with an agency yet. i heard about the Reinhard Model &Talent agency in philly but i want to make sure its not a scam before i make contact with them so i don’t waste time.i read a book about modeling so i know most of the red flags on scams.i just got braces and i don’t know if i could continue modeling. but i heard i can’t model with braces exept for runway it doesn’t matter because you don’t smile.i have no exprience in acting. help please??do i need lessons, thier expensive. and for fashion designing do i need to take a drawing class? or go to fashion camp? please tell me as much info. as you can i need help. thanks:) p.s i’m 5′2 can i still model? i want to grow to 5′9, is that possible? i’m 13 right now 110 lb. i live in PA 45 min. away from philadelphia.

I’ve been working promotions for the past several months and feel I have the experience but am wondering if there are particular promotional/modeling/marketing companies I should be getting my info to for this?

Are they similar to runway modeling? (Where you have to be freakishly tall & freakishly skinny?)

If not, what are the requirements? I want to go into modeling but I’m not 5′7 so unfortunately I can’t do that.

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am 4 ft 9 and african american, i think i have what it takes but i heard they’re tough, also doesnt ford have a talent agency.

I always wondered how people appear in store flyers and such. I believe that’s called promotional modeling. They seem to pick just random men, women, kids who don’t look too ugly. How does this work?
