Just looking for pointers from someone who has been in a similar position as we are. My son is 18 and a likely candidate for the profession. We live in NJ, about 20 miles from NYC. I am wondering if there are any successful male models (or parents of those models) who sought the career, rather than being “discovered,” that can advise us as we begin the endeavor. Best agencies? Open call experiences? Any other tips?
I am neither looking for encouragement nor discouragement, please, just advice on where to go, what to expect and what to watch out for…
