I want to be an actress but the only problem is, I haven’t really had any acting lessons due to a low buget income and the expense of these classes.

(1)Does anyone know any free acting classes in NY for low income teens or a scholarship program or something to help get myself started?

(2)Also as a new commer into acting where is the best place to start to get noticing in NY( commercials, extras in a movie, voice overs, theater etc. )?

(3) Does anyone know any agencies in NY that will get auditions for teens in acting?

There are so many acting agencies in Chicago, and I was wondering which ones might be valued more highly than others.

I have seen lots of ads for modeling and acting but they always want lots of money and the Better Business Bureau warns that a true agent doens’t take money upfront for anything. So how do I find someone reputable in Southern California?

Okay, so I’d like to be a model, runway and high-fashion and I would also like to act (romances, horror movies etc.) if i get a nose stud and marilyn piercing will it effect my work. I know i can take it out but still, won’t the hole be visable?
Can someone please help me?
Should I get it?
Will it effect my ability to becomne a part of the entertianment bussiness.

My friend is a model and actress in her country, but she is only here on a tourist visa for about half a year. She can pretty much return anytime for six months at a time. She doesn’t know if any agents will want to help her. She lives in Boston, but also in NYC sometimes.

I want to go away to an acting camp for part of the summer. I’m 16, and I’ve been training in musical theatre at a triple threat school. But I want to focus more on my acting. Everywhere I look for camps the acting ones are mostly for film and I kind of wanted one that was both film and theatre or only theatre. Does anyone know any camps?

My 13 year old daughter really wants to get into the acting business. She has been taking drama classes and gets good comments from the teacher. I was wondering what do modeling and acting agencies look for in a child because she also wants to do some modeling. She is about 4′10 and weighs 80 pounds so she is on the petite side plus she looks very young for her age.

I am 13 and I want to begin acting. I have no experience what-so-ever. I have researched alot and know that alot of acting things are scams, but if I really want this, where do I begin?
