I am now reading Ella Enchanted for the 3rd maybe even 5th time when I rememberd how much I hated the movie I decided to look at it’s movie reviews to see what others thought. I found some that were completly bogas and one which I agreed with completly. What do you think of the movie? Did you read the book? (Plese be open WITHOUT cussing)

Well I thought the movie was cute. I liked it for what it was. When I first saw it, I thought it was ridiculous, but after a second viewing, it wasn’t that bad if you take the cheesy factor of it into consideration. I think it’s a good take on the cinderella story idea. I didn’t even know there was a book so obviously I haven’t read it, but I think I might check it out if you say it’s better than the movie..

I have never read the book, but I have seen the movie many times with my daughters many times. We all love the movie! It is silly and hoaky, but it’s entertaining and tells a good story. My daughters loved the songs so much that I had to get them the Ella Enchanted CD and DVD for Christmas. I think it’s a wonderful movie for children, esp. girls, under 12. I have 2 boys, 12 and 5, they liked as well.
