Hey asked:
How can someone make an independent movie go to movie theaters ? Do you need to pay something? Or get a license? ?
I have no clue at all. Please , help me.

I’m not sure, but I think you have to get a distributor. It seems like that’s why all those directors/producers/actors take their indie movies to Sundance and Cannes and all those other film festivals. They screen the movie, and hope that a distributor with some money will like the film and distribute it to theaters. Try googling “film distributors” and see what you get.
(distributor might be spelled distributer…not sure…)
