I’d hate it… no way they cant make a movie off nothing… then it wouldnt be harry potter!

i think it would be awesome if they kept it going, i love the harry potter movies. the actors would probably be 21 by then but it would be cool.

To be honest I have never felt the movies ever measured up to the book, and I don’t see why they decided to make them other than to gain money. I sort of feel it ruins the novels, because now people would rather just go sit in a theatre than have to read it themselves.. Quite a shame really. They are missing out.

I think trying to stretch the story just to be able to make some profits will ruin the magic. Think about it… I bet it was a lot of work just getting to 7 books! and even more making them all interesting. I guess the author and actors must be already a little bored with the roles, so even though I love the books it seems like a nice magical number to stop at.

That would be dreadful. Besides, they would have to make a new contract because when Jo first signed over the rights, her one condition was that any sequels made would be her sequels.
