emma_watson asked:

What will the 5th and movies be rated? And if possible, do you know what kind of book the 7th one will be. Will it be more suitable for children, teenagers, or adults?

i think they will be rated PG13.
but many little kids went to watch when i was going to watch the HP4(i’m 16)

  2. Luke Says:

my guess is pg-13, because the goblet of fire did so well, they will probably find no reason that they shouldn’t make it a little more greusome. oh, and sirius black dies in the next one, and dumbledore in the one after that, and it was because cedric died in the fourth movie that they made it pg-13, so yeah.

  3. Peapod Says:

I’m going with PG-13. GoF was PG-13 because of the violence. We all know they won’t get any sweeter. Can’t wait for the next movie. Should be out in 2007!

The last book will probably be better for teenagers and adults, what with all the deaths that are slated to occur. Anyone younger than that, the parents may want to have a go at it first and then decide.

No idea about the movie ratings. I think either Harry, or Longbottom will die, resulting in a up roar that is that is the demise of Voldamort. I say this because of the prophecy that was given, Potter, and Longbottom are the ones who fit the prophecy. One of the two will be the death of Voldamort, or one of the two will die. If I remember how it was worded, my hypothesis could be right…
I have found that as the stories progress, the content does to. this is so the ones that fell in love with the books won’t loose interest, as they grow up. It is really ingenious of her to do.

i think PG-13 it’s made for kids to watch

  6. asengi@sbcglobal.net Says:

The movies will be PG 13 bec ause there is violence and the books are suitable for children and the movies maybe for above 13 years or older!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. allison Says:

I herd that Daniel Radcliffe was thinking about not doing any more of the movies. Warner brothers only has a contract with the actors to the 4 th movie , so there might not be any more movies, if there is the series will be over in movies in the year 2010. I think the movies can’t get any more violence then the best harry potter movie (yet the 4th). It will probably be rated pg 13, but if it goes to R which i doubt you can always ask your parents to buy your tickets. I think the 7th book is going to be called harry potter and the (one of the horuxed) because there is a pattern
    ss thing
    cs person
    poa place
    gof thing
    hbp person
    ? thing
I think i got it missed up but the last one is definatly going to be an object or thing. *( i found the pattern out on myspace)

  8. ethereality Says:

I believe the next few Harry Potter movies will be rated PG-13 because they are much darker; there are many deaths, callous murders, and violent situations not suitable for young children. However, this is up to the how the directors decide to interpret the books.

The next book will probably be suitable for older children because there is bound to be many more character deaths and sufferings, which may disturb younger children, especially ones who are emotionally attached to the characters or confused about death. However, JK Rowling is a children’s author, and she is very conscientious and aware of her audience, so the book should not be too traumatic.
