I like Harry Potter in the books and I like Daniel Radcliffe playing Harry in the movies. Harry in the books is different from Harry in the movies but that can’t be helped because of time. I hope that he continues with his acting career and won’t be pigeoned holed because of the Harry Potter movies.

Well, I think that the character and the actor are two different people and the things that the actor does should not influence the idea that actual character conveys. As you can see by my screen name I’m not the good supporter, but do really like Harry Potter the character. I think he has the guts to do something that others don’t, saving Cedric in GOF proved that, and also I think he is foolish many times, adhering to the visions that the Dark Lord shared with him in OOTP and trying to save Sirius who wasn’t in any actual trouble. I do stand firm on the thought that the Sorting Hat was wrong when he gave in to Harry’s plea to put him in Gryffindor, since he has the instincts of a true Slytherin, doing everything in his reach to get what he wants, but in his case, he uses it for the good. I truly adore the Harry Potter series and think that JK Rowling did a marvelous job with it., She is fantastic and I couldn’t expect more from her writing. I do really like Daniel Radcliffe, he is a very good actor and he brought Harry to life. Now what I wanted to clear up is that, like I mentioned before, the character is not the actor. Daniel Radcliffe has been endlessly criticized for doing a nude scene in a play called “Equus” and people now are saying that “Harry Potter let them down” but I believe that they are mistaken on that note, since Harry Potter is a fictional character created by a marvelous woman with a great idea on life and a mystical series. Even though Harry is “fake” he is still one of our favorite people, but we have to keep in mind that Dan is the REAL person and that he has a life of his own, so we should judge his character and his personality on different scales. Just like different genres of books… You can’t judge them the same way.

harry and daniel are very different from each other. i like daniel’s potrayal of harry.

Daniel in the real world! Well they say he’s really, really hilarious and he pranks people. I love it when guys have a pretty good sense of humor. Oh and when they goof off like Daniel. I’ve read about the sort of pranks he did and they’re just so funny.

Well, Harry’s just not as interesting as Daniel. I know he’s brave and all that limbo but.. well I just find Daniel erm.. more interesting and let’s just say.. ‘attractive’. Haha!

i like dan in movies n real life…i know him a little..he’s a v down to earth easy going chap..nice fella..
as harry he’s a v good actor n v dedicated..he’s also..v close to emma on d set…n he’s bit shy of girls..he’s usually w. emma,sometimes katie..
he’s dating..uhh..no.can’t say..
but dan in acting as harry n real life is great!
